## I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

### There are two ways to get more votes:

• When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
• You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
• To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

1. ## Fix currency units in standard library functions

Normal units work with library functions; this works:

floor(5.46 m) => 5 m

But, this does not:

floor($5.46) => floor($5.46)

I can workaround, by doing something like:

add$(x) =$*x
rem$(x) = x/$

floor$(x) = add$(floor(rem\$(x)))

Can it be fixed?

• ## [bug] keyboard partially visible on iPad 9.7 portrait split screen mode

iOS 11: If screen is splitted with another App together with Calca, when trying to input text on Calca screen, the top-part of the added–Calca–keyboard (with symbols, numbers and so on) is only partially visible on Calca’s side of the screen. The other part stays hidden by the other app which shares the screen with Calca. This makes the added part of keyboard unusable occupying precious screen space.

• ## Add interpolation functions

I think it would be very nice to have the ability to get, at least, linear interpolation.

• ## Give Calca some more multilingual support

If Calca presents math into something more tangible, into words that are easier to understand, Calca should support multiple languages outside of English. Maybe Chinese support for instance.

• ## Inline graphs ala other notebooks (Python/Jupyter, Mathematica, etc.)

The graph panel / sidebar presentation is generally icky. The program itself is GREAT --- the language is great, it's all great. Except for visualization.

• ## Setting a Variable to be used across multiple files.

I love this app. It replaced the majority of the reasons why I have spreadsheets. I would love to see a way to set a value of a variable and make it global. Meaning I could use that value in a different file.

• ## Support inline tables

I find trying to put tabular data into a document in a way that makes sense quite difficult. Various markdown flavors support this.

• ## 3D Plot

Please do a 3D plotting- function, for functions like z(x,y) = x^2 + y^2 etc. So you can see your function in 3D.

• ## Make it work with Bear/ DayOne both support markdown

Calca concept is brilliant as was looking for something like that for long time. It would be super nice if i could easily export the notes from calca to Bear and / or Day One.

• ## Normal and inverse normal probability

Approximation of F(z) from z
For a given z, to find F(z), the following Hastings routine

#entrar el valor de z para el qye se desea encontrar Prob[x<=z]

z=-1.88

Valor de z
k= if z < 0 then -z else z
d1=0.0498673470

d4=0.0000380036
d5=0.0000488906
d6=0.0000053830

F(z)=1−0.5*(1+d1*k+d2*k^2+d3*k^3+d4*k^4+d5*k^5+d6*k^6)^(-16)

Prob= if z < 0 then 1-F(z) else F(z)
Prob=> 0.0301

Aproximation of z from F(z)

c0=2.515517
c1=0.802853
c2=0.010328
cd1=1.432788
cd2=0.189269
cd3=0.001308

x=0.0301

#entrar el valor de P[x<=k] en H
H=0.95

H1= if H<=0.5 then H else 1-H

t=sqrt(ln(1/H1^2))

k=t-(c0+c1*t+c2*t^2)/(1+cd1*t+cd2*t^2+cd3*t^3)

• ## Derivating twice and plotting glitch

When trying to derivate like this:
f= x^3 + 4x^2 - 5x + 1
der(f(x),x)=h
der(der(f(x),x),x) = j
f => x^3 + 4 x^2 - 5 x + 1
h => 3 x^2 + 8 x - 5
j => 6 x + 8
plot (f,j,h, -5..5)

The h function won't plot.
Tried unnesting the derivations as well but it not help.
Please fix this.
Great program by the way!

• ## i liked your finance example, but if there could be a way to tag each item and get tag based summary it will be great

say

expense +=
bike repair(p1) = 1000
house(p0) = 100
car fixing(p1) = 9000
window(p0) = 200

expense => ...

and p0 => should be sum of all p0
p1 => should be sum of all p1
